In 1943, the Woodstock Historical Society was formed with the goal of preserving and sharing the area's history. Over the past eighty years, the Woodstock Historical Society went through numerous changes, including a name change to the Woodstock History Center; however, its commitment toward preserving the area's history has remained the same.

In 2023, the Woodstock History Center will host a special exhibit and a special anniversary event in September. We appreciate the support and interest of our members and the community over the past eight decades that have enabled our organization to pursue its mission, and we look forward to continuing with this mission for years to come.
